Family Photos

I have been wanting to do family photos since Sawyer was born.  I had a big vision of how I wanted photos.  I was going to hire them out until I thought of how gorgeous doing them in Washington would be.  So, we did them up there and let Amanda take them.  She did such a good job and was a trooper with the stress I was going through.  I should have been better prepared and out the door at 10.  We didn't do them until late afternoon and the kids had it by 15 minutes in.  I wish I could go back and redo them but we got enough good ones.  The kids were so bad we didn't have time to spare to go scouting around this park for other perfect backgrounds.  I definitely will be doing pictures again there next year (if Amanda has forgotten how painful it was!)  I will be better prepared and go right after waking up and breakfast.  Let me know what you think of them.

Sawyer was so done!

9 Months

Miss Sawyer has grown and progressed so much in the past 3 months.  I was looking at her today and noticing how much she is growing and doing big girl things.  We got her checkup done today.  Here are her stats:

Head:16.7 in-7%
Length: 25.67-3%
Weight:16.93 lbs-13%

Like the Dr. said, "Good things come in small packages".  She sure is that, small.  But when you look at her she looks a lot bigger than she is.  I think it's the cheeks!

Things about Soy Sauce
*Recognizes her names and nicknames
*Stranger danger has come back again full force-Except with Aunt Manda...Although she loves to smile at everyone
*Has 2 teeth-First broke through on her 9 month-7/21, second on 8/1
*Not crawling quite yet...she'll get on all fours and rock and then plop-But she sure can get around by belly flopping, rolling, and reaching.  She doesn't do the army crawl like the other two.
*Eating more table foods and enjoys them, eating foods 2 times a day with milk 4 times a day
              Morning bottle:6-7 oz, lunch:Food with 4-5 oz, dinner:Food with 4-5 oz, bedtime 6-8 oz
*Is transferring into size 3 diapers this week, they are too big but she was having too many poop accidents in the 2s.  Size 2 fits in the waist but not tall enough
*Wearing 3-6, 6-9 month clothes
*Sleeps through the night and wakes up about 9:30-10
*Mommies Girl
*Patient
*Loves to cuddle and be held

Sawyer was sent her for a very special purpose.  I'm finding it out each day just how special she is.  She is radiant and can put a smile on any face.  I'm curious to see how she grows up to be.

Washington/Oregon 2014

We took another trip to Amanda's this year.  But, we stayed a lot longer this time.  Kyle has and had a lot vacation he needed to use.  We stayed 2 weeks and had such a fun time.  We went shopping for groceries, fed ducks, kids club (McDonald's playland times 4), new restaurants, 3 days camping at the beach, church, outlet shopping, Voodoo Doughnuts, bathroom visits (I have to put this down because it became a game to have to find bathrooms!), Chuck E Cheese, Ape Caves, exercising, Family pictures.  It was packed full of fun but also we had some relaxing time.  It was so hard to get up in the mornings because we would stay up too late!  The kids had so much fun together.  Oaklee was in heaven playing girl things.  All 3 played so well together playing barbies and house.  I loved watching her blossom and her imagination bloom.  Wyatt played with them most of the time.  But he loved being able to watch lots of Netflix!

We got to spend 3 days along the coastline at Seaside and Cannon Beach.  Amanda & Craig recently bought a tent trailer and they needed help breaking it in!  It was so nice not to have to drive back and forth to see the area and play at the beach.  The first night we stopped at the best fish and chips place, Bowpicker.  We set up our little camp then headed to walk on the beach and eat dinner.  Friday we went through the shops then played on Seaside beach most of the afternoon.  By late evening we got dinner then hurried over to Cannon Beach to find seastars.  We were unsuccessful this year again because of the tide.  Guess we will have to go up again!  The last day we packed up and then headed to Long Beach.  We walked the shops there and then walked down the beach.  It was just an ok place and not my favorite.  Except they had the best ice cream shop.  I have been craving it ever since.  We got home late then hurried and got in bed so we could make church the next day.

The ape caves were a lot of fun.  Lots of talking, laughing, and exploring.  We attempted to go through them 2 years ago but wasn't equipped with good lighting and scared kids.  Wyatt was not wanting to go this time but we made him.  Oaklee was ok as long as she was held...by non other than Daddy.  We made it through the whole thing.  There comes to a point where you have to crawl...Jaycee, Craig, & Kyle did that part which is the furthest you could go.  Amanda was freaking out at the very end for them not to go.
Starting out our journey through the Ape Cave...it was so cool to be able to do it all

Wyatt's favorite thing was this ball room

You put balls in this thing and it shoots them up and out everywhere...it was addicting

Oaklee loved the beach...most of all the sand.  She did like to jump in the waves with me but they made her nervous.

Sawyer hanging out with daddy.  He took her so I could play in the water and sand with the kids.

Getting water for Jaycee to build the castle

Hadi sure loved to play in the sand

I loved this pic because the sand on her feet look like shoes!

Searching for seastars....he wouldn't get wet with the kids but gave in to look for seastars....Man he's funny

Impatiently waiting for daddy to come back on shore...both kids were stuck to daddy's side the entire time.  It was kind of nice to feel like I was getting a break.

My idea that Craig made happen!  I thought it would be cool to write a saying in the sand and then take a picture with it

The sun setting over the water....it was beautiful

I love these photos

I loved how Sawyer would pick them out of her hands...they had a lot of fun together.  Her girls sure loved Sawyer and took great care of her (most of the time!).

Wyatt sure loves Milly...we had to get after him a lot to just let her be
