Annual Pool Party

Every year my Mom's work does a party at Roy Aquatic Center. It is always a lot of fun. The party just needs to be longer than 2 hours. We have to eat and enjoy the water in such a small amount of time. Wyatt was very sad when we had to leave. I should just take him there another time. Oaklee even enjoyed!

May & June Photos

We received the disc that has May and June's pictures of Oaklee. The first one though is of Wyatt. I didn't have any cute professional photos of Wyatt since Amber did our family photos in 2009. So, she took one of Wyatt. The others are of Oaklee starting with June and then her May ones (I uploaded them backwards).

I found some pictures on my camera that I wanted to share. I wanted to also post that Wyatt calls Dalynne "Nemers". Clif & Kristin have a dog named Olivia that they call "livers" and he always repeated "Nemers". M&M's were also called "Nemers". So at first we got so confused when he would say "Nemers" because it was 3 different things. However, Olivia and M&M's are no longer "Nemers"; just Dalynne. I think he calls her that because she has a shelf in her house that has the different M&M dispensers.

Also, since the last post in July about Oaklee's stats, she is now fully crawling and sitting up. She will get herself in the sitting up position and is wanting to pull herself up to things. She started mastering these things about 1 1/2 weeks ago. She also says mamma and dadda!

There must be something about mommy and daddy's bed (see also below)!

New Hobby

Painting wood craft take and makes. It has been so fun and I found out I really enjoy it. I try not to get complex projects because sometimes that discourages me. But so far I have enjoyed the ones I have done. I have a slider frame, lady bug, chunky flower, ant, and an owl door hanger. I bought the lady bug and flower for the front room to put where the snail is (there is another small shelf like the one the snail is on on the other side of the big shelf). The snail I made is actually for Oaklee's room. But I thought it was so cute next to the summer word. Now that I got the flower and lady bug, I am thinking I will go get 2 more and do them in Oaklee's room colors and put them with the snail. Also, the wood store just put out their fall and Halloween items. I AM IN TROUBLE! Fortunately, I don't have a ton of room in my house for things so I have to be choosy what I do.

I have been needing to post something! I looked at the last time I posted and it was almost a month ago. Where oh where does the time go? The past month we haven't done tons just trying to enjoy our summer before it's gone. We have gone to the splash pad a couple times (Wyatt is FINALLY not scared of the water), Lagoon, and camping. Our camping trip was probably the funnest in a few years. I had such a blast I did not take one.single.picture! My camera sat in the car the whole time. I am bad, YES. We mainly played card games (Thanks Aaron), ate food, and talked.

I have been trying to make Wyatt feel like we are doing fun things. Although, he still isn't at that age where he won't remember a ton. I just don't want to ever regret not spending quality fun time with the kids.
